Wayne Omardeen

Wayne Omardeen has been retired from the Peel Regional Police since 2018, after having served 31 years of active service in various uniform and investigative positions. Having been a director and former president of the PRPA, he joined the Board of Directors for the Peel Regional Police Retirees Association (PRPRA) in 2019 and several months after that he became a director for the Police Pensioners’ Association of Ontario (PPAO). 

He currently sits as the President of both the PRPRA as well as the PPAO and has held these positions since 2021.   Wayne is also an ambassador at large for MROO, the Municipal Retirees Organization of Ontario.    In his spare time, he likes to travel, pretends to golf and loves to spend time with his family.
