Michael Gendron

Michael is in his 15^th year with the Canadian Police Association (CPA), serving as the Communications and Government Relations Officer for the organization. During this time Michael has been responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Members of Parliament and Senators across party lines on behalf of the civilian and sworn members of Canada’s police services. Prior to joining the CPA, Michael worked in a number of roles on Parliament Hill for elected Members of Parliament, including as Press Secretary to the Leader of the Official Opposition, and as a Justice and Public Safety policy analyst for both government and opposition caucus services organizations.

In his spare time, Michael is the skip of a dysfunctional curling team, the foremost Canadian fan of the Baltimore Orioles, and a passionate member of BillsMafia. He’s also a thoroughly adequate husband and a loving father of three unbelievably energetic teenagers.
