About Flora Vineberg
Flora joined the PAO in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in employee and labour relations, human rights advocacy and legal expertise. In her role, she provides critical legal support, guiding the organization in complex workplace investigations and fostering compliance with legal frameworks that impact PAO members.
Before joining the PAO, Flora worked extensively with the Ministry of the Attorney General and the Ontario Solicitor General, where she contributed to key policing initiatives, including legal compliance with report-based recommendations and stakeholder consultations. She also has a strong background in government relations, having lobbied for legislative changes related to human rights compliance in extractive industries and access to justice for survivors of sexual violence.
Flora holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labour Relations and a law degree from the Peter A. Allard Faculty of Law at the University of British Columbia. Outside of her professional life, Flora enjoys writing and speaking on trauma-based investigations, workplace policy and wellness issues.
