Meranda Wood - North Bay Police Service

Over the past few years, Meranda has organized and led an “Adopt a Senior” program during the holiday season, where individuals donate gifts to seniors in need or may be alone during this time. She matches donors with seniors, organizes gift collection and delivers them to local nursing homes and hospitals. Through her efforts, countless seniors in the community have experience joy and connection during the holiday season. Despite the program being a significant undertaking, Meranda is deeply committed to it and made it a priority to see it through this year, even while caring for a young family at home.
