I have had the privilege of working alongside S/Cst Mark Colling for the past six years. Throughout this time, I have witnessed firsthand his unwavering commitment to serving our community beyond his professional duties.
Mark consistently volunteers his time to support numerous community initiatives and fundraising events. His efforts have helped raise significant donations through programs such as Tim Hortons’ Smile Cookie Day, Special Olympics Donuts, Tim Hortons Camp Day for children, and Toys for Tots at Canadian Tire. His dedication to these causes has positively impacted countless families and individuals within our community.
In addition to his fundraising work, Mark volunteers as a coach for 9–10-year-old players with the Lincoln Storm Soccer Club, where he plays an important role in helping young athletes develop their soccer skills while fostering teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship.
It is with great pride that I nominate Mark for the Community Role Model award. His ongoing dedication, generosity, and genuine commitment to making a meaningful difference truly exemplify what it means to be a community leader.
