Lynn has consistently exceeded the expectations of her rank, demonstrating a level of leadership that is truly exemplary within the Ontario Provincial Police.
As Team Leader at the CAFC, D/Sgt. Danis serves in a high-pressure environment, overseeing OPP civilian members while also being the sole sworn officer assigned to the unit. Her ability to lead effectively in such a demanding and unique structure speaks to her professionalism, adaptability, and strength as a leader.
In addition to this significant responsibility, D/Sgt. Danis stepped forward to serve as Acting Detective Staff Sergeant for the Anti-Rackets Branch during a critical period of need. Her extensive expertise in financial crimes made her exceptionally well-suited to guide the branch through complex investigations and operational challenges.
Despite carrying two major leadership roles, Lynn once again accepted the responsibility of leading CEFT. Under her direction, the team achieved notable success, including receiving recognition for Project Atlas. Her leadership ensured operational continuity, strategic focus, and strong team performance.
Through critical staffing transitions, Lynn’s steady guidance enabled the CAFC, Anti-Rackets Branch, and CEFT to remain effective and mission-focused. Her unwavering commitment to the OPP’s mission, combined with her depth of knowledge and willingness to step up when needed most, exemplifies outstanding leadership and service.
