PC Robertson—known affectionately across Lambton County as “J9”—serves as the Community Engagement and Media Officer, where she exemplifies exceptional leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication to public service. Her commitment to strengthening community relationships is evident in every aspect of her work, both on and off duty, and she consistently exceeds the expectations of her role.
PC Robertson is deeply involved in charitable and community-driven initiatives. Each year, she participates in the Polar Bear Plunge to support Special Olympics Ontario; she assists in coordinating local toy and food drives; and she frequently volunteers her personal time at charity hockey games and grassroots fundraising events. Her creativity and enthusiasm are reflected in unique projects such as creating a charity lemonade stand with Lambton OPP members to raise additional funds for local causes.
Her engagement extends to supporting the OPP Auxiliary Unit, helping ensure volunteer officers are well integrated into community activities and effectively represented at public events. She also plays a visible role in initiatives such as Coffee with a Cop, creating welcoming opportunities for open dialogue, trust-building, and positive interaction between officers and community members.
PC Robertson’s dedication includes regular visits to retirement homes, where she participates in recreational activities, delivers important safety messaging, and brings genuine joy to residents. She represents the organization with pride and is deeply committed to fostering public trust, youth engagement, and positive police–community relationships.
In her capacity as a Recruit Ambassador, PC Robertson inspires prospective applicants by promoting OPP values with professionalism, authenticity, and enthusiasm.
While community engagement is central to the CEO role, PC Robertson continually elevates the position. She regularly adjusts her personal schedule to support OPP-backed events, enhances the visibility of Lambton OPP across the county, and embodies the spirit of service in every interaction.
