During a severe snowstorm, a father and his daughter became trapped when their snow fort collapsed under the weight of heavy snow pushed by a passing plow. Constable Drage was nearby when the call came in and rushed to the scene. While the daughter managed to escape, her father remained buried alive.
Without hesitation and disregarding his own safety, Constable Drage began digging through the snow with his bare hands. He successfully located the father and brought him to EMS for medical assessment. Exhausted from his efforts, Constable Drage later lost consciousness and required hospitalization.
His selfless actions and unwavering dedication saved the life of a man, father, and husband. He deserves recognition for his extraordinary efforts.
