Jason Herder - Chatham-Kent Police Service

I first met Sgt. Herder while he was organizing the Ontario Special Olympic Games.

The event was incredibly well-organized, and I can only imagine the countless hours he dedicated to making it such a success. His efforts helped create unforgettable memories for all participants. Beyond that, Jason also led the organization of the Polar Plunge to raise funds for the Special Olympics and provided support to other police services hosting their own events.

Now, as I train as an auxiliary member of the CKPS, Sgt. Herder has been our main instructor. His dedication to policing and his genuine passion for serving the community are undeniable.

Jason is truly someone who goes the extra mile!
