Brantford Officer Adam, along with his K9 partner Finn, is an incredible human being who serves his community with pride, compassion, and genuine care. He represents the uniform with integrity and a deep commitment to the people he protects.
A shining example of his kindness is the relationship he has built with my grandson, Brodie Watson. Brodie has Leukodystrophy, a devastating illness that will take his life in his mid-teens. Somehow, Officer Adam heard about Brodie’s story and has since become a cherished friend, role model, and source of joy for him.
Brodie has always dreamed of becoming a police officer, and Officer Adam has gone above and beyond to make that dream a reality. Through visits, special events, and unforgettable moments, he has made Brodie feel like part of the policing family. The kindness and dedication Officer Adam has shown will forever be remembered by Brodie’s family and all who love him.
Brodie is now 13, and his disease progresses each day, weakening his body. But he has never forgotten his superhero—Officer Adam. I hope you won’t either.
