Launching a new look!

Dear Members,

For those who couldn’t attend this year’s Annual Meeting and Convention (AMC) in Windsor, I have an exciting update to share. During our kick-off session, we announced a significant update to the PAO brand.

Over the past decade, the PAO has seen substantial growth in both membership and mission. As an association, we strive to be the unified and trusted voice of Ontario’s professional police personnel.

Driven by our members, we developed our 2023-2026 PAO Strategic Plan, outlining ambitious three-year goals and the path to achieve them. One of our key objectives was to improve brand recognition within the Ontario policing community.

Our current brand, which was introduced in 1996, was over due for a refresh. With the typical lifespan for an association logo being 5-10 years, ours was approaching 30!

Throughout this project, our aim was to create a new brand that pays homage to our history while positioning us for the future to achieve the ambitious strategic goals set by our members. We wanted to ensure the PAO represented safety, community, and advocacy through a modern, progressive voice and an exciting new look.

In the coming months, the PAO will update its communications channels and materials to reflect the new look. Each member association will receive a complete rebrand package on June 12, 2024, and the revamped PAO website will launch on July 15, 2024.

Thank you for your continued support and engagement as we move forward with this exciting transformation.
