PAO’s 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament

The PAO’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament coincides with Ontario’s PTSD Awareness Day.  PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) is a mental health condition triggered by witnessing or experiencing a terrifying or traumatic event.  While post-traumatic stress can affect anyone, healthcare workers, police officers, paramedics, firefighters and corrections staff are particularly at risk. The unique workplace stress for first responders can lead to operational stress injuries, which include PTSD.
