The April 2020 shootings in the Portapique area of Nova Scotia have had a deep and lasting impact on people from across Canada. We are all left feeling deeply effected, saddened, and hurt by the tragic loss of life.
The Ontario Special Constable Association (OSCA) has organized a virtual run aimed at bringing people from across Canada together to unite “virtually” to help raise funds for the individuals, families, and communities impacted by the April 2020 Nova Scotia shootings.
You don’t need to be a Special Constable to take part, anyone can join in and run for Nova Scotia!
All funds raised will go to the Canadian Red Cross Stronger Together Nova Scotia Fund. The Canadian Red Cross will be working in partnership with the Government of Nova Scotia to provide support to the individuals, families and communities impacted by the Nova Scotia tragedy with immediate and long-term needs, including resiliency and capacity building.
