Grounded in the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019, this 1-hour webinar facilitated by legal counsel Joanne Mulcahy (Harry G. Black Professional Corp.) will cover procedural fairness, (competing) member rights, and supportive association roles. Participants will explore best practices for safeguarding due process, navigating complex employment and discipline issues, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations while protecting the interests of their members throughout the investigative process. Delegates attending this webinar will receive one (1) credit towards the Representative Excellence Program.
