Bargaining Workshop
The PAO is pleased to offer this 1.5-day workshop designed to provide members with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed at the bargaining table.
Presented by Lauren Pearce, Partner, Jones Pearce LLP, this 1.5-day workshop is designed to provide members with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed at the bargaining table. This course is designed for association representatives new to collective bargaining, those with limited experience, or those looking to refresh their skills as they head into bargaining.
Notes: Delegates attending this workshop will earn two (2) credits towards the PAO Representative Excellence Program are earned for this workshop.

About the Presenter: Lauren Pearce
Lauren Pearce is a founding partner at Jones Pearce LLP, a boutique law firm specializing in labour relations. With a strong focus on serving unions and professional associations, Lauren provides comprehensive representation in collective bargaining, grievance and interest arbitration, human rights matters, and more. She has a particular expertise in police labour relations, regularly representing police associations of all sizes.
An experienced litigator and skilled written advocate, Lauren’s academic work has been cited by the Supreme Court of Canada and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Before establishing Jones Pearce LLP, she practiced at a leading Toronto litigation firm, specializing in labour, employment, professional discipline, and administrative law.
PAO Event Cancellation Policy:
Registrants may cancel their registration by providing the reason for the cancellation to pao@pao.ca.
Cancellation requests must be received at least seven (7) full days before the first scheduled session to be eligible for a refund, minus a $50 administration fee. For example, if the first session begins at 9:00am on a Tuesday, the cancellation request must be received before 9:00am the previous Tuesday. After this deadline, registration fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed within five (5) business days and issued to the original payment method. For cheque payments, an EFT will be issued
Substitutions are permitted at any time for no additional charge. To substitute a colleague for your registration, please provide their name, title, and contact information to events@pao.ca. The PAO will maintain a waiting list for each event to help facilitate substitutions.
Paid registration fees may not be transferred between events.
