2026 Civilian Conference
The Civilian Conference brings together civilian members from across the province to focus on relevant topics to civilian members which are central to the work of all police associations.

Issues specific to civilian members are central to the work of all police associations. Civilians face unique job stressors, collective agreement terms, and workplace opportunities that differ from their peers across the province. At the Police Association of Ontario's 2026 Civilian Conference, hosted by the Belleville Police Association, civilian members will be presented with a variety of presentations and panels on topics particularly relevant to civilian members and their roles. Please note, the conference agenda will be provided to delegates prior to the conference date along with further conference details.
Delegates attending this conference will receive two (2) credits towards the Representative Excellence Program.

With the room block at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Belleville nearing capacity, the Belleville Police Association has secured a small overflow room block at the Best Western Belleville. The hotel conveniently shares a parking lot with the host hotel, providing easy access for attendees.

PAO Event Cancellation Policy:
Registrants may cancel their registration by providing the reason for the cancellation to pao@pao.ca.
Cancellation requests must be received at least seven (7) full days before the first scheduled session to be eligible for a refund, minus a $50 administration fee. For example, if the first session begins at 9:00am on a Tuesday, the cancellation request must be received before 9:00am the previous Tuesday. After this deadline, registration fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed within five (5) business days and issued to the original payment method. For cheque payments, an EFT will be issued
Substitutions are permitted at any time for no additional charge. To substitute a colleague for your registration, please provide their name, title, and contact information to events@pao.ca. The PAO will maintain a waiting list for each event to help facilitate substitutions.
Paid registration fees may not be transferred between events.
