2024 Dennis R. Latten and John Walker Awards | Now Accepting Nominations
We are currently accepting nominations for the 2024 Dennis R. Latten and John Walker Awards. These prestigious awards are presented annually at the Annual General Meeting in May 2024 to recognize the exceptional dedication and excellence displayed by individual members in their service to the Police Association of Ontario (PAO) and fellow member associations.
Please submit your nominations by completing the appropriate forms and providing a letter of support, ensuring that the nominee meets the criteria for each award outlined below.

Dennis R. Latten Award
The annual award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated long-standing dedication and excellence in serving the Police Association of Ontario and its members. The recipient should exemplify the PAO’s Core Values: Integrity, Respect, Collaboration, and Dedication, through their actions and contributions.

John Walker Award
This annual award honours an individual from a member association of the Police Association of Ontario, who exemplifies leadership, devotion, and sacrifice in adversity, mirroring the qualities shown by John Walker during his tenure as President of the Belleville Police Association.
